Julie received her undergraduate degree from Truman State University in communication disorders and her graduate degree from Rockhurst University. She has worked with individuals in various settings including the public schools, St. Louis Children's Hospital, and in early intervention through First Steps of Missouri.

Julie's outgoing and welcoming personality allows her to connect with her clients and build a trusting relationship where her clients feel respected and understood. She understands the value of delivering meaningful therapy by using teachable moments and real-life situations to engage her clients in the learning process. She welcomes parents and caregivers in her sessions and provides home practice tools and activities when appropriate. 

 

In her free time, Julie enjoys reading, cooking, staying active, and spending time with her husband and their three children.
